Field Studies in Morocco

We have field studies to examine the cyber security situation in Morocco. We found that the vast majority of WIFI networks in Rabat use WPA or WPA2. We have also found that WIFI networks in administrative neighborhoods are more likely to be security than in residential neighborhoods. On the other hand, we found that the majority of computers in cyber cafés are infected with malware. Interestingly, we find that malware infection rates decreases with the cyber cafe manager education level.
